Following these guidelines below will ensure the safe handling, storage, and use of propane cylinders
Storage Safety:
Never store cylinders under BBQs to avoid risks related to hot fat.
Keep cylinders away from ignition sources, including e-bikes and other rechargeable devices.
Always store cylinders in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors. Never store or use cylinders below ground level.
Handling Precautions:
Avoid dropping cylinders from vehicles or platforms to prevent damage to the cylinders and their valves.
Never store or use cylinders in a horizontal position.
Replace safety caps or plugs on cylinders when they’re empty or not in use.
Usage Guidelines:
Do not operate cylinder valves using tools, as this may damage them.
Hose Maintenance:
Regularly inspect hoses for damage or wear. Replace them with the correct quality hoses and ensure they’re securely attached with hose clips.
